Job description SEND Teaching Assistant Primary Schools (L4 Area, Liverpool) Location: L4 Area, Liverpool Agency: Prospero Teaching Salary: GBP105 GBP115 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: Immediate Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Supply The Role Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a number of primary schools in the L4 area of Liverpool. These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, global developmental delay, and speech and language difficulties. Positions are available on both a flexible supply basis and for longer-term placements, offering variety and the opportunity to build strong relationships within school communities. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND needs Support teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions Help to create an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Encourage and promote pupils social, emotional, and academic development Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to track and report on pupil progress Requirements Previous experience supporting children with SEND (in a school or similar environment) A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learning Strong communication and teamwork skills An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service What Prospero Teaching Offers Competitive daily pay: GBP105 GBP115 (depending on experience) The opportunity to work in supportive, inclusive and friendly school environments Free safeguarding and SEND-specific CPD training A dedicated consultant specialising in SEND placements across Liverpool How to Apply If you are a caring, motivated, and reliable professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs in the L4 area, wed love to hear from you.
