Job description Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Liverpool Salary: GBP105GBP115 per day Job Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only Start Date: ASAP DBS: Enhanced DBS required We are currently recruiting reliable and passionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs in primary and secondary schools across Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive in an inclusive educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs Work on a 1:1 basis or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions Collaborate with teaching staff and the school SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs) Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment Assist with classroom management and lesson preparation Requirements: Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs (school-based experience preferred) Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Two relevant references covering the last 2 years Strong communication skills and a flexible, patient approach A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs Benefits: Daily pay rate of GBP105GBP115 Immediate start available Opportunities in a variety of supportive school settings across Liverpool Ongoing training and career development Potential for long-term or permanent roles How to Apply: Submit your CV today to be considered.
