Job description SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant (EYFS) Liverpool Location: Liverpool, Merseyside Daily Rate: GBP105 GBP115 (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a Liverpool primary school. The Role: Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs (SEND). Assist with academic, social, and emotional development in line with EYFS curriculum. Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to provide tailored support. Use strategies to promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience supporting children with SEND in EYFS/Primary settings. Understanding of EYFS framework and child-centred learning. Ability to build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents. Patient, caring, and adaptable to individual needs. Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Professional references covering the last two years. Right to work in the UK.
