Job Title: Social Worker – Duty and Assessment TeamLocation: LancashirePay Rate: £36 per hourJob Description: Liquid Personnel is looking for experienced and resilient Social Workers to join its client’s Duty and Assessment Team based in Lancashire. This is a fast-paced role ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families at the point of referral. Key Responsibilities: Undertake initial assessments and Section 47 enquiries Respond to referrals and complete timely risk assessments Liaise with families, schools, and partner agencies to gather information and coordinate support Make informed decisions about next steps for children and families Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records Prepare reports and attend relevant meetings and court proceedings Ensure compliance with Social Work England standards and council policies Requirements: Social Work England registration Degree in Social Work or equivalent Post-qualified experience in statutory children’s services Full UK driving licence Strong assessment and communication skills Why Liquid Personnel?
