Opportunities to develop your skills and take on new challenges.A supportive, diverse, and collaborative environment.About Our ClientThis opportunity is with a large organisation operating in the FMCG sector, known for its innovative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality products to millions of consumers.Job DescriptionProvide financial analysis and reporting to support business planning and forecasting processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess business performance and profitability.Support budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Assist in preparing reports for senior management to guide strategic decision-making.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.Act as a trusted advisor to various teams within the organisation on financial matters.The Successful ApplicantCIMA or ACCA qualified accountant with 3+ years' experience in the finance function.Experience of preparing and delivering information to operational colleagues in a medium sized manufacturing or FMCG business.An organised, self-starter with an overview of deliverables and a track record of timely delivery.Curious, positive and proactive. A problem-solving mindset with a strong eye for detail.Enjoys collaborating with non-financial colleagues to share information and identify improvements supporting delivery of financial and operational KPIs.Has worked cross functionally, navigating both formal and informal reporting lines to deliver tangible results on process and improvement projects.Willing to question established business practices and seek better ways of working. Shares with others to find the best outcome. Not scared to ask questions to develop their business knowledge.Applies a continuous improvement mindset to all aspects of the scope and responsibilities of the role. Actively flags opportunities to streamline and standardise.A team player, who works closely with others to deliver on the team's objectives.
