Based in West Lancashire, within close proximity to the M6 and M58, this logistics organisation are in a period of exceptional growth. Established for over 40 years they specialise in sectors of high demand and boast a number of further revenue streams.
As they continue to evolve, they are now seeking a dynamic Chief Finance Officer to perform a key role, joining the senior management team they have a dynamic and forward thinking leadership team already in place.
The business are set to double in size over the next 12-18 months. With a multi-site operation across the UK this is an exciting time to join. A business who truly believe success derives from each of their employees, they have a number of high value contractsin place.
A role working closely with the Commercial Director and MD, this will manage and drive change whilst adding commercial value both short and long-term.
The role in a nutshell:
Spearheading a change in the culture across the business, you shall lead finance in stitching together with all departments whilst reshaping the way in which finance operate. This role will continually focus on achieving best practice, evolving with the growth.As Chief Finance Officer you shall lead the established finance team and shape the department alongside the FC. Supported by a financial controller, the role will enable and drive change, executing a change in the way finance operate, developing efficienciesalong the way.
As a key member of the SMT you shall work alongside the directors and leaders in the business to execute and drive strategy short and longer term. Influencing a culture change across the organisation, this role will be pivotal in the reshaping of the organisationduring an exciting period of exceptional growth.
