Job Start Date: ASAP We are partnered with an organisation in the healthcare industry who are seeking a professional and experienced Payroll Manager to join their large & busy payroll department on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Payroll and working alongside another Payroll Manager, this role will have an initial focus on leading on a new payroll system implementation, with a longer term BAU focus. Responsibilities include: * Supporting the Head of Payroll with day to day management of the team * Conducting 1:1s and appraisals * KPI reporting * Processing of high volume & complex payrolls on a weekly & monthly basis * Deputise for the Head of Payroll as required * Payroll year end duties * Reviews processes and recommending improvements * Lead and support on the new system implementation and training of the team where required Experience required: * Strong UK payroll experience * Exposure to high volume & complex payrolls * Strong leadership & people management experienced * Experience of implementing a new payroll system * CIPP qualification * Intermediate Excel skills * Workday payroll experience is desirable This role offers flexibility for hybrid working and flexi time.
