Group Payroll Manager

Absolute Executive Search is looking for a Group Payroll Manager for a well-established family run Company based in Ashford.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, administer and continuously improve the Payroll Department in line with Group ethos.
- Building great, effective teams and productive relationships across the business and with clients\customers.
- Driving data and technology improvements to enhance payroll effectiveness.
- Oversee, develop and support a team of 6 Payroll Administrators and as Assistant Payroll Manager.
- Manage all aspects of payroll including testing upgrades/amendments and rectifying systems errors.
- Ensuring all reporting submissions are made to HMRC and our pension providers.
- Ensure all direct reports, holidays and sickness forms are completed and submitted.
- Liaising with Group Companies to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Correcting pay errors on the system - amending year to date figures.
- Authoriser for BACS/CHAPS payments.
The company is offering a competitive package and also a hybrid arrangement between Head Office and Home working.
