Ensure that all personal data and bank information is updated to the payroll system and advised to appropriate 3rd parties Monitor, check and input all variable data to the payroll system including commission, bonus and overtime Check and input all statutoryupdates, such as, student loans, PGL's, P45, P46, and tax code notifications.
- Enter any Court orders or DEAs for employees
- Update ResourceLink with any salary increases, promotion or role changes ensuring all T&C's are amended Assist with checking colleague's input
- Update the payroll system with any holiday or sickness absences that cannot be processed via employee self-service.
- Monitor days taken against holiday entitlements, assist employees with entitlement enquiries Enter other paid and unpaid absences to the system, deducting pay where appropriate.
- Process all statutory absences (SMP, SPP etc) checking all payments throughout the leave period Request self-certification forms and fit notes for sickness absences Assist with checking colleague's input
- General Duties Payroll Manager Mailbox - respond directly to any requests allocated to you such as, copy payslips, P60 or reference requests Provide help and assistance to employees calling into the department or making a general enquiry to the team
- Regularly monitor DUG pages relating to payroll and liaise with Team Leader to keep up to date
- Regularly review policies and processes which relate directly to workload and liaise with Team Leader to review and improve Assist with payslip printing, enveloping and postage and with any bulk mail outs Any other duty requested
