Job description Job Title: General Teaching Assistant Primary School Location: Norris Green, Liverpool Pay: GBP105 GBP115 per day Start Date: ASAP About the Role: A friendly and supportive primary school in Norris Green is looking for a motivated General Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about supporting their learning and development in the classroom. You will work closely with class teachers to provide support across the school, helping pupils to engage with lessons, develop their skills, and achieve their best. Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils across different subjects. Work with small groups and individuals to reinforce learning. Assist with classroom preparation and organisation. Encourage and support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development. Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment. Requirements: Previous experience working in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential. A patient, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to working with children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to use initiative and adapt to the needs of the class.
