Secondary and SEMH Classroom Suppoer (ADHOC) Location: Across Secondary and SEMH Schools in Sunderland, South Tyneside, and Gateshead Employer: Milk Education Milk Education are hiring Classroom Support Assistants to work on an ADHOC basis across a range of Secondary and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) provisions in Sunderland, South Tyneside, and Gateshead. Do you have experience supporting young people through sports coaching, youth work, performing arts, or childcare? If you are passionate about making a positive difference in young people’s lives, we want to hear from you What you’ll be doing: Providing in-class support under the direction of the class teacher Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEMH, to engage in learning Promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils build confidence and resilience Assisting with lesson activities and general classroom duties throughout the day We’re looking for people who: Have experience working or volunteering with children or young people (e.g. coaching, youth work, mentoring, Camp America) Are patient, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with pupils Are passionate about helping young people reach their potential Why work with Milk Education?
