Role Profile They key objective of this role is to support the Sales function by coordinating the end to end internal sales process and acting as a key point of contact for customer queries. Responsibilities will include: Managing the Sales Inbox, ensuring timely responses to customer communicationsCoordinating RFQs, including interpreting customer requirements through technical specifications and engineering drawings, and preparing costings and quotesFollowing up quotes with customers and managing pipeline activityRaising sales orders and issuing order acknowledgements to the customerOverseeing existing customer orders to ensure client requirements are metMaintaining accurate data on the CRM and implementing improvements within the systemTracking KPIs for the sales function through monthly reports and insightsProactively identifying opportunities for process improvement within the business and working cross functionally to implement better process flows, procedures and reportingIdeal Skills and Experience Previous experience in a similar Sales Support / Internal Sales / Sales Engineer role within a Manufacturing or Engineering environmentAbility to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawingsEngineering background would be ideal but not essential (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)Proactive, decisive, organised and adaptablePositive, "can-do" attitudeExcellent communication skills with a proven track record of cross functional workingComfortable in a hands-on role with the ability to thrive in a small, close-knit teamWhy should I apply?
