Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator Location: Chesterfield Salary: £30,000 per annum About the Role: Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a leading manufacturing business based in Chesterfield in their search for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the purchasing department. Key Responsibilities: Procurement: Oversee the procurement of materials, components, and supplies necessary for manufacturing processes. Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials at competitive prices. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules. Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards. Order Processing: Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality. Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory status. Requirements: Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the manufacturing industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office Suite. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
