OA are recruiting for a People Coordinator to join our clients growing team.Location: BorehamwoodHours: 9am-5:30pmMonday – Friday. 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home following successful probation.Salary: £28,000People Coordinator Benefits23 days holiday UK bank holidaysLife assurancePrivate health care for you and dependentsEmployee assistance programme, including GP line, cashback for treatments, advice lineSeason ticket loanRental deposit loanAnnual leave purchase scheme People Coordinator Key Responsibilities Act as primary source of contact for queries (both internal and external), whether by telephone, letter, email or in person, ensuring that they are dealt with accurately and efficiently and adhering to professional confidentially standardsPrepare and update where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contractsSupport the People Advisor with the end-to-end new joiner and leaver process, including running Company Induction and conducting exit interviewsEnsure accurate teammate records are maintained to the highest standard and deleted in line with GDPR legislationReport regularly on HR metrics, such as headcount, company turnover and absenceSupport the review and renewal of company policies and legal complianceSupport the Group payroll function each month by providing the department with relevant teammate information, i.e. holiday, overtime and sick absence informationSupport the development and roll out of various HR initiatives internally, including performance management, benefits reviews, and leadership programmes etc. where necessary. People Coordinator Skills and Experience Excellent interpersonal skills including listening and empathy, ability to build trustAbility to exercise discretion and confidentiality in all situationsHigh degree of attention to detailAbility to prioritise and manage competing tasks and requestsInterest in data and managing databases, good knowledge of excelStrong team playerProven experience of working in a People/HR function and good knowledge of HR legislation and practices
