Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to support pupils with SEN at a lovely primary school near to Lancaster. You will be supporting the pupils in small groups and on 1-1 basis.

Position Details:

Location- Lancaster
Position- SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours- 8am-4pm
Type of work- Temporary
Full time/part time- Full time only
Minimum rate of pay- £90 per day, depending on experience
Start date- 06/01/2025
End date- OngoingEXPERIENCE:

Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHER
