Special Needs Teaching Assistant Specialist

Prospero Teaching is a specialist education recruitment agency working with SEN schools nationwide. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 11-18 years old with severe learning difficulties and complex needs, as well as other co-occurring conditions such as Autism, ADHD and social, emotional and communication difficulties.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting pupils in various settings, including classrooms and therapy rooms, to ensure they receive the best possible education and care.
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and other support workers to develop and implement tailored support plans for each pupil.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
