Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to support pupils with SEN at a lovely primary school near to Lancaster. You will be supporting the pupils in small groups and on 1-1 basis.Position Details:Location- LancasterPosition- SEN Teaching AssistantHours- 8am-4pmType of work- TemporaryFull time/part time- Full time onlyMinimum rate of pay- £90 per day, depending on experienceStart date- 06/01/2025End date- OngoingEXPERIENCE:Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHERIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
