An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experience Central Operations Manager to join our company, working with one of our major UK retail accounts.

The role will see you providing operational oversight of the day-to-day execution of the project, change management, business initiative program, including schedule adherence, compliance, financial control, risk assessment and mitigation.

Act as the focal point between the external and internal key stakeholders, ensuring good working relationships, and effective communication are maintained and built upon, across all levels of the business.

The role must ensure services are delivered in line with legislative and regulatory standards whilst meeting service level agreements. A sound understanding of supermarket retail facilities management is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage the project or change management program using Smartsheet

* Point of contact for various issues and projects between the client and internal stakeholders

* Promote an effective team culture across the external and internal senior leadership teams

* Schedule and lead regular meetings, as required, with the client and internal teams to focus members on key areas requiring attention as well as delivery of new briefs with checks to ensure understanding and onward delivery

* Oversee implementation of contract deliverables

* Work with different sub-contractors to provide services for the client

* Provide business analytics management information reports as and when required

* Manage all budgets within target, optimise best value and, wherever possible, lowest cost to ensure we buy as much service as possible.

* Audit FM documentation and ensure action plans are in place for any non-compliance issues

Financial Responsibility

* This role is responsible for managing expenditure and effective cost management within agreed budgets for all projects jointly with the customer. Ensuring that all financial approvals are in line with the agreed levels of spend authority.

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential

* Recognised technical background with experience in hard FM, exposure on a retail contract.

* Professional Project Management qualification

* Previous experience of effectively leading and managing a team within a retail FM setting

* Strong PC literacy, with experience in extracting, collating and presenting performance data along with previous experience of using a CAFM system.

* Previous experience in the use of Smartsheet, or other project management software, SharePoint and Power BI

The ideal candidate:

* Flexible to be available / on call out of hours

* Full UK Driving License

* Previous experience of developing client relationships at a stakeholder level

* Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skills.

* Ability to plan and organise multi-site work schedules

* Effective problem-solving skills

* Ability to work under pressure

* Strong PC literacy, with experience in extracting, collating and presenting performance data.
