The company have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer, you will:

Day-to-Day Activities:

* Inherit Success: Take over a well-established region with strong long standing accounts

* Drive New Business: Identify and develop new opportunities across various high-tech industries, including robotics, automation, medical,aerospace and semiconductors.

* Provide Expertise: Offer technical consultation and solutions to customers, ensuring their unique requirements are met.

* Build Relationships: Strengthen connections with existing clients while strategically expanding the customer base.

* Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions.

* Manage a field-based territory, scheduling visits to existing and potential clients.

* Prepare and deliver technical presentations tailored to customer needs.

* Negotiate contracts and secure orders, meeting or exceeding sales targets.

* Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends.

* Support clients with technical queries, ensuring satisfaction and fostering trust.

* Keep detailed records of customer interactions and sales progress.

Requirements

* A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

* Proven experience in Technical Sales or a customer-facing engineering role.

* Strong ability to identify and close new business opportunities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information.

* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for innovation.

* Full UK driving license and flexibility for travel across the South East of England.
