The Client:
One of the most recognisable regional names in the Suffolk contracting market, operating throughout East Anglia, this established main contractor have quickly developed a reputation as one of the leading builders in the area, delivering an exciting range of complex projects across a range of business sectors.

The Role:
Looking to strengthen the support functions within the business, they seek a forward-thinking Office Manager to support the directors of the business and oversee the existing administration function. Managing a busy office, you’ll be looking after all areas of general administration, helping manage the director’s diaries and time and liaising closely with Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Contracts Managers and more.

Responsibilities:

* Overseeing day to day administration of the business, overseeing the current administration staff.

* Manage the diaries of the business directors, ensuring their time is utilised effectively.

* All aspects of keeping the office functional, from ordering stationary to internal HR functions.

* Attend regular meetings, acting as a focal point for external consultants, clients and stakeholders, and minute taking.

* Effective communication with clients, suppliers, external consultants and colleagues through to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Minimum 3 years previous experience within an Office Management or Senior Administration role

* Previous construction industry experience is highly desirable but not essential for the right person
