Description

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable: Manage and process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment processing. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and assist with reconciling supplier statements.
Accounts Receivable: Oversee customer accounts, process sales invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments. Liaise with customers to resolve any queries regarding invoices or payments.
Sage50: Utilise Sage50 software for both accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all data is entered accurately and efficiently. Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
General Accounting Support: Assist with bank reconciliations, posting journal entries, and preparing reports for management.
Customer & Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and resolving any account-related issues.
Ad hoc duties: Provide support to the finance team with general accounting and administrative tasks as required.Profile

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a similar role.
Sage50 experience is essential, with a strong understanding of how to use the software for daily accounting tasks.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in a family-run business or smaller company environment is advantageous.Job Offer
