If so, we should chat… The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing consultancy.
We are a trusted partner to some of the largest names in the finance sector and beyond, delivering innovative technology transformation solutions.
To date most of the sales activity has been organic, through networks and expansion opportunities within our existing portfolio.
We are now looking to invest further in our sales, marketing and general brand awareness to enhance our growth into new horizons.
This is a new role, with a relatively blank canvas to work on.
As Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in shaping and executing our sales and marketing strategy while managing the full sales lifecycle.
The role will span the following; Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a robust sales and marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
New Business: Identify and secure new opportunities with businesses that could benefit from our services.
Client Expansion: Proactively identify internal opportunities to grow our footprint within the existing client base.
Lead Generation and Management: Open cold leads, nurture warmer opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across industries, positioning us as their trusted transformation partner.
Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process, from initial outreach and proposal development to closing and onboarding.
Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and relevant to enterprise-level needs.
This is a role for a driven Business Development Manager who thrives on results.
Experience needed You'll need a proven track record of success in business development within enterprise-level businesses, ideally within technology or consultancy services.
You'll have deep connections and networks in relevant industries, with the ability to leverage them effectively.
It's important that you can demonstrate experience in crafting and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.
You'll possess a natural ability to open doors and build relationships with both cold leads and existing clients.
Strong negotiation skills will be required, as well as presentation, and communication skills.
Knowledge of technology transformation projects will be advantageous.
