Our sales office is a fast-paced, supportive environment, with people who are passionate about delivering great service and achieving their potential.
About you   The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a mid to large hotel sales team and possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.
In addition, you will be:   ·        Methodical - accurate & ability to work on own initiative, with outstanding attention to detail.
·        Computer literate, with experience of hotel PMS.
i.e.
Delphi & Opera.
·        Sales-focused and enthusiastic, with excellent customer service skills.
·        Flexible and capable of working well within a team.
About the Role   As an Events Planner you will be w orking alongside the Sales Executive to ensure a seamless handover of the event at the contacts stage.
Other responsibilities are as follows:   ·        Being the point of contact with the customer for all pre-planning details ·        Creating event function sheets to ensure clients requirements are accurately documented and distributed to the wider resort ·        General call handling to discuss event details including using questioning techniques and handling objections ·        Conducting face to face site visits/menu tastings and final detail calls ·        Booking and attending client pre & post event meetings ·        Assist in taking enquiries and covering the phones during busy period     Belfry Benefits Learning & Development   We inspire and develop our team through on-the-job coaching & mentoring, in-house training and provide access to our online learning platform, The Belfry Campus.
