Oxford, United Kingdom Response Full time

In every part of our society, from classrooms to boardrooms and from football pitches to building sites, more people need more support for their mental health and well-being.
At Response, we are rising to the challenge and putting the person first.
We need you to help us achieve that.
RESPONSE is looking for three Trustees with experience in any of the following areas: Social or Supported Housing, Human Resources, Public Relations and Mental Health to become a Trustee.
You would play a vital role in the running of our fantastic organisation through contributing to and ensuring effective delivery of our strategy.
A genuine interest and commitment to the organisation's Mission, Values and Strategic Goals is essential along with an understanding of compliance, risk management and control of processes.
For over 50 years, RESPONSE has been pioneering mental health and wellbeing services that enable individuals to live the fulfilled lives they deserve.
We have grown significantly in the last five years and now support over 400 adults with serious mental illness and hundreds of Young People with mental health and wellbeing across West Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire (BOB).
Our values are Caring, Creative, Safe and Aspirational.
We're CARING- we connect with each other on a human level and believe in the power of conversation.
The human warmth of our 230 colleagues translates to the work they do to support others, and is ultimately why we're one of the leading providers of mental health support.
Do you also possess these qualities and have a genuine desire to make a difference?
Our AMBITION is illustrated in our numerous NHS and Council contracts and turnover of around £18m, meaning we're now well-placed to deliver future growth and even more vital life-changing services to both young people and adults.
Response aims to diversify their portfolio even further and open new services in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire alongside still developing new services in Oxfordshire.
As a large and growing organisation, we need Trustees who can invest a suitable amount of time, on a flexible basis, each month.
As a guide, a Trustee could be investing around 6 hours a month to RESPONSE (in addition to the formal board meetings, which take place bi-monthly).
However, if you are unable to commit to this time, we would still like to speak to you about what you can offer
Response will continue to build an inclusive culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diverse voices of our employees and individuals accessing our services.
We are proud of our commitment to diversity and inclusion and welcome applicants that are representative of the individuals we support.
For further information and to find out how to apply please visit the RESPONSE website: www.response.org.uk.
Alternatively, if you would like to arrange an initial informal conversation with Nicola Leavesley (CEO) please contact Claire Pouncey, Executive PA on TPBN1_UKTJ
