We are seeking a passionate and experienced KS2 Intervention Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on the learning outcomes of our pupils.
Job Overview: As a KS2 Intervention Teacher, you will work closely with individuals and small groups of children, providing targeted support to help them overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential.
You will design and deliver engaging, differentiated interventions in literacy and numeracy, helping to raise standards and ensure that every child is able to access the curriculum successfully.
Key Responsibilities: -          Provide focused intervention sessions for pupils in Key Stage 2, addressing areas of need in literacy and numeracy.
-          Assess and monitor pupils' progress, identifying gaps in learning and adapting interventions to meet their specific needs.
-          Collaborate with class teachers to ensure continuity and consistency in pupil support.
-          Track pupil progress and report on outcomes to senior leadership.
-          Support the social and emotional well-being of pupils, fostering a positive learning environment.
-          Contribute to planning and delivering whole-school initiatives aimed at raising achievement.
-          Maintain high standards of behaviour management and ensure all pupils feel safe and supported.
You will need to: -          Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
-          Have experience of teaching or working with children in Key Stage 2.
-          Demonstrate a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, especially in literacy and numeracy.
-          Be able to plan and deliver effective, engaging interventions tailored to individual pupil needs.
-          Show a commitment to continuous professional development.
-          Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
-          Be dedicated to ensuring all children have the opportunity to achieve their potential.
