We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Educational Needs Coordinator to join our team. As a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to students with special educational needs.
Job Summary:
- Liaise with teachers and support staff to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Oversee the identification and assessment of students with special educational needs, ensuring timely interventions and accommodations.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture by collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to provide training and guidance on best practices for inclusive teaching.
- Maintain open communication with parents and carers to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's progress.
Requirements:
- Degree in Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience.
