Job DescriptionDesktop Engineer: Tech Bar, Windows 10, Windows 11, Laptop, Desktop, Builds Our Global Enterprise client is seeking a Tech Bar Engineer to work with their engineering team on rota basis.
Start Date: Jan 2025
Duration: 120 days (initially)
Pay Rate: £110.43/day (PLEASE NOTE: Employer NI is paid for by the client)
Total Daily Earnings: £ 123.76/day (includes rolled up holiday)
IR35 Status: Inside
Location: Worcester
Technical Skills: Assistance with IT related queries & general basic enquiriesAssist users logging into and logging tickets within service NowComplete administration within Service Now (log/update and close tickets)To look up and check progress of IT support calls if requestedHardware diagnostics: carry out diagnostic tests to determine whether a fault is related to a hardware failure (or software/user profile issue) Check warranty and report to supplier or replace if out of warranty from StockDevice rebuilds and ensure compliant before re-issue (configured with latest windows updates)Install & troubleshoot softwareOffice 365 suite knowledge for troubleshootingBasic Use of Active Directory - EG: PW resets, Bit locker recoveryBasic use of SCCMBasic use of NexthinkNHS mail administration (creating accounts, PW resets, applying O365 Licences, leavers and Joiners, shared mailboxes, Multi factor authentication)Troubleshoot/fix MFA issuesEducating users in; logins, mail, MS Teams, outlook, Cisco VPN, CitrixSpare stock managementLoan stock managementLiaise with other internal teams and NHS Acute Trust staff for application support and password resetsBasic Mobile phone supportPerform visits to A&E Dept (3 times a week) & Cancer services (once a week) and check with key contacts if there are any IT issues/perform quick fixes.
