Job summary An opportunity has arisen to join the senior management team at Stuart Road Surgery.
We're looking for an assistant practice manager to work alongside the practice manager to help lead and provide support to our busy team.Due to the anticipated volume of applications for the role, only those applicants shortlisted for interview will be contacted.
Main duties of the job The main purpose of the post is to be responsible for leadingthe team in a wide range of non-clinical support, practicedevelopment, patient experience, patient services, HR and other managementmatters across our organisation.
About us Stuart Road Surgery is a small, but busy surgery.
You will be providing support to the whole team, which consists of;2 GP partners, 3 x salaried GP's,1 x Advanced Clinical Practitioner, 1x Practice Nurse, 2 x HCA's and our non clinical team of around 14 staff members.

feedback mechanisms, and information on local voluntaryand third sector groups and servicesEnsure thatall frontline reception staff are in dress uniform, presentable, and fullytrained to do their role Ensure thatall frontline reception staff are trained in customer services, conflictmanagement and problem solving in order to give all patients the best possibleexperience regardless of the physical or mental state of the patient attendingSupportWork closely with the Reception / Admin team to fullyunderstand and problem solve on-the-ground issues, difficulties andrequirements, and provide management support as requiredEnsure that full cross-cover arrangements are in placeacross all reception and admin staffEnsure that all staff have clear and effective linemanagementDeliveryEnsure effective utilisation of all clinical spaceEnsure that the Practice has an effective and accurate rotafor clinical and non-clinical servicesEnsure that all staff are fully trained in the complaintsprocess and incident reporting processEnsure that all staff utilise and are compliant with thecomplaints process and incident reporting processEnsure that back-office staff are fully responsive to theneeds of clinicians and front line staffCLINICAL SUPPORT AND PLANNINGTo oversee rotas to ensure accurate appointment systemswith flexibility to provide cover at short noticeTo ensure that approved audits and clinical reports are runwhen required and distributed as appropriate in order to support clinicaloutcomes, quality improvement, quality attainment, and effective recall
