The Supply Chain Finance Consultant will play a pivotal role in enhancing clients' supply chain finance operations.
This involves optimising working capital, cash flow management, and operational efficiencies.
The role requires frequent travel, initially to the Reading headquarters and subsequently to client sites across Europe.
Key Responsibilities * Supply Chain Finance Optimisation - Assess and improve clients' supply chain finance processes to achieve cost reductions and efficiency gains.
* Strategic Planning and Execution - Develop and implement strategies that align with clients' business objectives, driving value across the supply chain.
* Financial Analysis and Modelling - Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
* Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, effectively communicating complex financial concepts.
* Process Improvement Initiatives - Lead projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline processes.
* Market and Risk Analysis - Monitor market trends and advise on mitigation strategies to protect working capital.
* Project Delivery and Client Management - Ensure timely and successful project delivery, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
An MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CFA) are advantageous.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain finance, financial analysis, or management consulting, ideally within a multinational or consulting environment.
* Proficient in financial modelling, cash flow forecasting, and supply chain cost analysis.
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
* Proven ability to communicate financial insights clearly and compellingly.
* Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept through completion.
* Proficiency with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel skills.
Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
* Willingness to travel as required, initially to Reading, UK, and subsequently across Europe.
