Your new role   As a Technical Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to enhance the technical skills of the workforce.
Your key responsibilities will include conducting classroom training, hands-on sessions, and coaching on the shop floor.
You will develop and deliver induction programs for new staff at all levels, source and coordinate external training activities, and maintain site training matrices to ensure all training is up-to-date.
Additionally, you will evaluate the effectiveness of training and development activities.
You will also play a crucial role in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems through effective training of the workforce, ensuring compliance with HACCP standards, and preparing for and participating in audits (BRC).
Your role will be integral to the continuous improvement program, contributing to ongoing enhancements in processes and systems.
Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel and e-learning management systems, will be essential to supporting training and quality management activities.
What you'll need to succeed   To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in a related discipline such as Food Science, Quality Systems, or Microbiology.
An awareness of Quality Management Systems and HACCP is essential, and familiarity with BRC and major retailer audits would be desirable.
Proficiency in IT, especially in Excel and e-learning management systems, is required.
Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
