Vickerstock is proud to be working in partnership with an innovative and diverse Food Production Client on the appointment of Technical Manager for their site in Armagh.

Reporting to the Group Technical Manager you will be responsible for all technical aspects on site.
What you will receive: Salary from £45,000 depending on experience.

Great career progression opportunities What your typical day will look like as Technical Manager: Maintain unannounced Grade A BRC - experience with BRC audits essential Maintenance of Quality Manual (HACCP, TACCP, Procedures and records) HACCP Team leader - minimum training - Intermediate Lead and guide on TACCP Specifications - Responsible for documenting and issuing of farm and packing specifications and updating customer technical libraries when required.
New lines - Responsible for ensuring labelling machines are set up correctly, and training of associated records/packing specifications to relevant operators.
Maintenance of cleaning procedures Packhouse staff induction / Training on new procedures etc.
Traceability from farming - packhouse - customer Responsible for ensuring Internal audits, Traceability and Product Recall exercises etc conducted to schedule Manage packhouse QC team Manage and follow through on customer complaints Liaise with all departments of the company - NPD, Production, Sales etc.
Prepare and conduct farm audits Bord Bia, Nurture, Global Gap and Field to Fork annual audits and any customer audits, and follow up with corrective actions Manage Department audits across farms and packhouse, and follow up with corrective actions Ensure GMP across all growing sites and packhouse What you will need to secure your new role: Strong Technical Management/Compliance Background Degree or equivalent in food related discipline Middle to senior management experience in leading/ managing a multiskilled team Experience liasing with various stakeholders/departments within a business including NPD, Production, Operations, Supply Chain etc Get in touch: Sound like the career move you've been after and would like to hear more, pick up the phone to Anna now on T , or send an updated CV - in Word format - via the link on the page (or email).
