As an Apprentice Fleet Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the fleet management operations at WCS Group, part of Marlowe Environmental Services.
You will be trained to manage various administrative tasks related to our vehicle fleet, including scheduling, maintenance tracking, and compliance with safety regulations.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in the coordination of vehicle movements, monitoring fuel consumption, and maintaining accurate records, all while receiving hands-on training to build your skills in fleet administration.
Requirements Process parking, speeding, and penalty fines Coordinate the delivery of new vehicles and the return of end-of-lease vehicles Monitor and notify drivers when MOTs are due, follow up to ensure compliance Assist with the management of accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring timely collection and return by insurers Arrange for rental vehicles when needed, such as for new hires or while a vehicle is being repaired Issue and replace fuel cards as necessary Facilitate driving license checks for new hires Help with any fleet-related inquiries via phone and email, escalating when needed Coordinate tracker installations and removals Regularly review and update the MID database, adding or removing vehicles as needed Ensure all processes and deadlines are met by following up on required information and escalating to management when necessary Attend team meetings and follow up on required actions Assist the Fleet Administration Manager with ongoing fleet projects and the implementation of new processes Monitor the department mailbox and respond to queries Provide support to the Fleet Department with any additional administrative duties or projects as needed.
