Job Summary The NR Project Manager manages all National Rail interfacing packages on a day to day basis to ensure that the NR related packages are planned, managed and control through its life-cycle Key Responsibilities : Establish strong working relationships with NR stations operations team and its internal stakeholders and set up formal and informal communications channels.
Project Manage interfacing packages such as Park Street Bridge, Green Rd activities, etc Lead on the preparation and submission of work package plans, Forms Cs, Form H/Gs and other relevant NR interface deliverables Chair weekly planning and co-ordination meetings between NR and the project construction team and ensure that operations needs are fully considered in the detailed planning and methodology Manage any possessions required as part of the construction project including possession planning and booking Lead on the update of any NR interface activities planning Ensure the rail operations and interfaces are considered in all aspects of the implementation planning of the project.
Manage the interface in accordance with the project Interface Management Plan.
This includes being responsible for the Interface Control Document, associated Interface Register and chairing and recording interface meetings.
Support NR with all negotiations and presentations to the public, transport pressure groups, unions and other interested parties as necessary.
Act as the main point of contact for any emergency incidents involving NR operations Arrange and record any condition inspections and reports regarding the NR Assets and oversee any making good works.
Ensure a register of all commitments and undertakings to NR Station Operations is maintained and such commitments are fully complied with.
Oversee deliveries to site by rail and ensure that rail windows are agreed in advance with NR Identify and manage all activities required to protect the NR assets including both physical protection and monitoring.
Knowledge and experience of NR engineering assurance; namely NR/L2/CIV/003, NR/L2/INI/02009 and NR/L2/INI/P3M/101.

Excellent understanding of NR rail operations Good understanding of project planning and construction methodology.
