Job Overview

This role involves leading a team of quantity surveyors on rail projects, providing guidance and support to internal and external customers as needed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure rail project objectives are met.
  • Provide procurement advice, work with customers to develop estimates, tender documentation, and evaluation tools.
  • Offer technical support on contract interpretation, negotiation, and commercial strategies for internal and external customers.
  • Lead and improve change management, commercial forecasting, and reporting, working closely with other functions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations related to rail infrastructure and government procurement processes.
  • Identify opportunities to add value in customer delivery and future propositions.

Key Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of rail infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying and excellent communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment.
