As an OT Networks Programme Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of our Operational Technology (OT) Network solutions to our major UK energy customers.
You will oversee entire programme lifecycles, from initial concept and detailed designs, through to final implementation and handover to support.
These roles require strategic thinkers with strong leadership skills and ideally a deep understanding of OT networks and their integration with IT systems and the wider business environment.
Programme Management: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of OT network programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the programme lifecycle.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design, implementation, and optimisation of OT network solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices.
Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure the successful delivery of programmes within scope, time, and cost constraints.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with OT network programmes, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimisation of potential impact on delivery timelines and quality.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of OT network programme delivery, leveraging lessons learned and industry advancements.
Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security protocols in the design and implementation of OT network solutions.
Requirements Experience: OT network programme management or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex programmes.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of OT network technologies, protocols, and architectures, as well as their integration with IT systems and applications.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve programme goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to OT networks and cybersecurity.
