Role Highlights Fulltime permanent Music Teacher position within an SEN school dedicated to holistic student development through creative and adaptive learning Plan and deliver inspiring music lessons designed to engage students with a variety of learning needs encouraging selfexpression and building skills in a supportive environment Use music as a therapeutic tool creating opportunities for students to explore their emotions develop social skills and gain confidence in a nonjudgmental fun atmosphere Work closely with the SEN team to adapt music lessons to individual learning styles ensuring that each student can participate meaningfully and achieve personal milestones Develop group activities such as music circles and small performances to promote teamwork social interaction and collaboration among students Play an active role in school events and performances helping to cultivate a positive school culture that celebrates every students unique abilities and achievements Experience and Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in teaching music particularly within SEN or inclusive education settings with a dedication to making music accessible for all Skilled in creating adaptive therapeutic music lesson plans that can be tailored to a wide range of abilities fostering a love for music and selfexpression among students Compassionate and patient teaching style with the flexibility to adjust instruction to meet the specific emotional and developmental needs of each student Strong collaborative skills working with the SEN team to support individual student progress both academically and emotionally Clear enhanced DBS check required to ensure a safe caring environment for students This is an exceptional opportunity for a creative empathetic Music Teacher who values the transformative impact of music.
