Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Memory Assessment Service Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Nurse to join the Memory Assessment Service team in Morecambe.
This is a full-time role working within a multidisciplinary team to support dementia assessments and care planning.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct assessments, planning, consultations, and formulation towards dementia diagnosis.
- Develop and implement evidence-based strategies and interventions for the treatment of dementia.
- Refer patients to appropriate services or agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
- Identify and address risk factors, ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.
- Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to staff and trainees.
- Act as a communication link between GPs, non-statutory services, and other agencies to ensure high standards of care.
- Support the team manager in delivering effective leadership and oversight of care processes.
Position Details: - Location: Morecambe - Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week - Contract Duration: 3 Months - Rate: £25.00 per hour - Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available Requirements: - Qualified RMN with current NMC registration.
- Specialist knowledge and experience in dementia care and memory assessment services.
- Strong assessment, risk management, and care planning skills.
- Experience in mentoring and supervising staff.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with external agencies.
