This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and enthusiastic team, providing essential care to perinatal patients as we launch the new Perinatal Pelvic Health Service.At Kings Mill Hospital, our small team of specialist physiotherapists is committed to treating pelvic dysfunction in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Join us in delivering exceptional care and support to our patients.
Main duties of the job Provide essential postnatal advice and information to women, ensuring they feel supported and informed during this crucial time.
Engage in diverse outpatient care delivery, tailored to meet each patient's unique needs.
This includes: Telephone appointments for convenient and accessible care.
Group sessions to foster community and shared experiences.
One-to-one assessments for personalized attention and support.

Qualifications Essential GCSE Mathematics Grades A-C, Levels 4-9, Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
3 A-Levels or Health and Science T-Level or equivalent level 3 qualification(s) - such as the Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship (or other level 3 qualification pathway) NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in health related subject Knowledge and skills acquired through training or experience in Physiotherapy, or maternity support work.
Commitment to undertake additional training Desirable Foundation Degree or equivalent level 5 qualification in related field Care certificate Some knowledge of anatomy/physiology/human biology Further Training Essential Ability and willingness to expand knowledge of Pelvic Health conditions, treatments and impact on individual wellbeing Knowledge and understanding of complex NHS settings or equivalent Knowledge of Microsoft office packages Desirable Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Knowledge of Maternity care.
Experience Essential Experience as a physiotherapy assistant, maternity support worker or health care assistant within an NHS trust or equivalent experience.
Experience of working within an administrative environment Understanding of safeguarding issues, data protection and an awareness of health and Safety issues Desirable Experience running group exercises or information sessions, either virtual or in person Undertaking exercise prescription and evaluating outcomes Experience in caring for women in the immediate postpartum period.
Experience of using hospital patient record systems Contractual Requirements Essential Adaptable and willingness to work flexibility including occasional evening and weekends and bank holidays.
Able to drive/travel between sites on a single day as required
