Special Needs Assistant Contract: Full time, temporary position working Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Pay: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour  Location: Burnley Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a dedicated support staff on behalf of a secondary specialist provision.
The headteachers boasts about the secure, happy environment they offer to staff and pupils.
You will need to have a real desire in creating opportunities for children to develop their abilities to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will have experience working with young people/adults with additional needs as the school are looking for someone to grow their children physically, mentally, and socially.
This role will work specifically with children in KS3/KS4 who particularly struggle with their emotional regulation and behaviour.
This may present as a challenge as you will need to create strategies enabling the children to cope with high pressure situations.
It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have previous experience of working with children with SEMH.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to ensure that the child's needs are being met according to their IEP.
