Role Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Philanthropy Manager.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned fundraising professional to shape and execute high-level donor engagement strategies that foster long-term, meaningful support.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a major donor, trust, and legacy giving strategy to achieve ambitious income targets.
Cultivate and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and other key supporters.
Identify, research, and engage prospective donors, building a sustainable pipeline of major giving opportunities.
Lead high-profile fundraising events and donor engagement initiatives to expand the charity's network.
Prepare compelling cases for support, proposals, and stewardship plans that align with donor interests.
Work closely with senior leadership to coordinate strategic asks and maximize fundraising potential.
Monitor and report on fundraising progress, ensuring accurate tracking and impact reporting.
Requirements Proven experience in philanthropy, major donor fundraising, or a similar role within a charity or nonprofit setting.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a track record of securing significant gifts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
Strategic thinker with experience in planning and executing fundraising strategies.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with CRM systems and donor research tools is desirable.
