Main duties of the job This job is designed to provide the Physiotherapy teams within the Community Health and Integrated Care Division (CHIC) with clinical support to develop all staff with the primary focus of band 5 and 6 Physiotherapists and Apprentices within these services.
The role is to provide induction, training, education, competency development, assessment, monitoring and supporting supervision to Band 5's and 6's initially within the community and then the wider CHIC division.
To provide Interprofessional learning and support for Band 5 and 6 Occupational Therapy and Nursing Staff to develop Physiotherapy competencies.
To lead on the development of apprenticeships within community therapy services and the wider physiotherapy profession as appropriate.
To lead on student education within community therapy services; supporting and developing clinical educators and coordinating placements to promote inter-professional experience To provide specialist advice to PT keyworkers for complex caseloads.
To support clinical supervision for Band 5 / 6's and develop peer support and action learning sets to develop core excellence in conjunction with Band 6 lead supervisors.
To support the recruitment and rotations on B5 Physiotherapists.
