About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Development Lead to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for leading on the provision of competency-based assessment, teaching, education, and supervision programs.

You will provide appropriate training to our preceptor pool, create and maintain positive working relationships within the teams, and monitor and appraise performance. You will also support the monitoring of standards of care/support and assist in the development of responsive and innovative practice.

This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. You will have expertise in physiotherapy clinical reasoning and skills, as well as full understanding of the national agenda for relevant clinical pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the provision of competency-based assessment, teaching, education, and supervision programs
  • Provide appropriate training to the preceptor pool
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships within the teams
  • Monitor and appraise performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Health Professions Council Registered
  • Evidence of planning and policy development around education and practice
