This role requires both hands-on management and strategic foresight to ensure we capitalise on opportunities and proactively manage risks.ResponsibilitiesBudgeting & ForecastingSupport the annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and providing a clear view of future performanceDevelop and maintain the company's core 3-statement financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and ability to support scenario planning for strategic decision-makingCreate financial models from scratch to support with revenue, headcount and overheads forecastingFinancial AnalysisAnalyse financial data, identify trends and provide insights to support strategic decision makingDeliver insightful analysis of monthly financial results, working with the Finance Manager to investigate variances against budget and forecast, and communicating key performance drivers, risks, and opportunitiesSupport with the build out of departmental reporting & analysis versus budgetSupport with the production and continued development of the monthly Exec DeckSupport with reviewing business cases and other ad hoc analysisIdentify opportunities to automate reporting, enhance modelling capabilities, and implement best-practice FP&A processes that can scale with the businessQualifications & ExperienceFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years post-qualification experienceProven experience in an FP&A Manager role within a fast growing and ideally global businessAdvanced financial modelling skills, with the ability to build and manage complex 3-statement models and build models from scratch in ExcelStrong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailExtensive experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysisStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex, fast-moving environmentsA proactive, self-starter attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and building processes in a scale-up environmentOrganised, adaptable, and comfortable working with evolving prioritiesGeneral InformationAdhere to Nomia’s data protection and information security policies at all times.Promote diversity and inclusion in line with Nomia’s core values.This is a hybrid role, with three office days per week required, potentially more during training or as requested by your supervisor.Contribute to continuous improvement in systems and processes.Please note that this role description is a guideline, and duties may evolve over time.
