A high-growth, PE-backed business in the technology and digital services sector is seeking an FP&A Manager to join its finance team. Reporting to the Group FP&A Director, this role partners closely with sales, marketing, product, and digital leadership teams to enhance commercial performance, strengthen financial insight, and drive data-led decision making across the business.

The ideal candidate will bring strong business partnering experience in sales and marketing environments, a solid analytical toolkit, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the finance business partner to sales, marketing, and product teams, providing challenge, insight, and commercial support.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for sales and pipeline activity, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, including commission and incentive plan modelling.
  • Develop and enhance management reporting packs, including board-level performance updates.
  • Deliver commercial analysis on pricing, mix, and volume performance to improve gross profit margins and commercial return.
  • Support the design and implementation of GTM metrics such as bookings, pipeline conversion, win rates, CAC, CLV, and quota attainment.
  • Help refine performance dashboards and automate reporting using Power BI and Salesforce data.
  • Partner with leadership to identify process improvements and standardise reporting across departments.
  • Contribute to new product business cases, scenario planning, and ad-hoc strategic projects.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience in FP&A or commercial finance roles within sales or marketing-led environments.
  • Strong understanding of gross profit drivers and commercial levers.
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills; experience with Power BI and Salesforce is highly advantageous.
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing and challenging non-financial stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth settings, ideally with exposure to private equity-backed or recurring revenue businesses.
