We arrange and coordinate all aspects relative to Worksite Personnel being employed, paid, appointed, joining and leaving Client Worksites, all in accordance with the company Quality Management System and associated work processes and client specific requirements. We have built a culture that encourages collaboration, values individual contributions, and champions personal growth and development.What You will DoTo arrange and coordinate all aspects relative to sea staff being employed, paid, appointed, joining and leaving Company vessels, all in accordance with the company Quality Management System and associated work processes and client specific requirements.Roles and ResponsibilitiesActing as a first point of contact for all personnel-related matters and queries for personnel placed on vessels under your responsibilityEnsuring vessels are manned by suitably experienced and qualified personnel as per Safe Manning, STCW and Flag Certification requirements, within budget and whilst adhering to Client / Company Policies, Procedures and GuidelinesTo follow documents check process and recruitment procedures as defined in MPD ManualEnsuring newly recruited and promoted personnel are provided with Company / Client policies and proceduresEnsuring briefings are carried out and recorded as per AESM procedures (including Senior Officer visits and debriefings) when requiredTo issue MLC Employment Agreements for sea staffMonitoring all employee documentation and ensuring necessary compliance is maintainedEnsuring travel and visas are arranged in a cost effective and timely manner adhering to Company / Client travel policiesTo programme, arrange and advise all concerned of sea staff travel details and to ensure ships are aware of relief intentionsTo liaise with Clients and technical managers, plus overseas manning agents as instructedTo maintain accurate and up-to-date crew lists reflecting crew changes carried outTo input and update crewing system and personnel file in a timely manner, for maintenance of records and payroll purposesProcessing payrolls within deadlines, including allotments, timesheets, DRJCS, expenses and liaising with the Accounts Department to ensure payments are made in timely mannerTo collate performance appraisal reports and highlight perceived training needsTo inform the Marine Personnel Manager of any problem or potential problem, which may significantly impact on the manning requirementProviding information for P&I claimsAttending meetings as required, including Ship VisitsAssisting Fleet Personnel Manager / Offshore Crew Manager with the preparation of crew budgets when required. Preparing monthly reports eg turnover, dismissals, and statisticsIt is a requirement of a Personnel officer that he / she be on out of hours call to deal with any emergency issues which may arise involving seafarers’ welfareTo review and provide feedback for opportunities for improvement or amendments to MPD ManualTo promote and comply with the company’s “Safety and Environmental Policy”What We Are Looking ForTo have experience in Recruiting and Managing Crew Personnel in Shipping industryTo have knowledge of the Oil and Gas IndustryThe ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation of the responsibilities/qualifications required in the role.
