They own the end-to-end customer experience and work on various systems on the e-commerce platform.To support our continued growth, we’re hiring an Engineering Manager to join the E commerce business unit. You’ll work directly with the Engineering Director and lead a high-performing team to deliver core features across our top web sites. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape the product experience millions of users rely on every day.What You’ll Be DoingManagementLead your team and meet regularly with your direct reports to provide frequent feedback on their workDrive recruitments, performance assessments, trainings and career development for your teamHelp individuals set goals and improve their practices, to ensure employee growth and meet retention goalsTechDrive projects from end-to-end, implementing best-in-class engineering practicesParticipate in the sprint delivery, monitor Tech' metrics, and be accountable for the quality of deliverablesConsistently come up with innovative solutions integrating and encourage innovative thinking from othersDeliveryCollaborate closely with Delivery Managers, Product Owners and Designers to assess feasibility, provide technical recommendations, and help estimate and planDelegate effectively, ensuring tasks are completed as specified without micromanagingCommunicate clearly on expectations and ensure practices are followed to meet Ledger’s quality barLeadership & CommunicationEmbrace a positive “can do” attitude, and be a model for othersBe proactive in your communication and be a well-identified link with other teamsTrack progress/risks/issues and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholdersSuccess Here MeansFeature enablement over architecture - Getting things done by creatively integrating third parties, not reinventing wheelsBusiness results over technical novelty - Supporting improving SEO rankings, page performance, conversion rates, fast feature experimentationsBrand stewardship - Every decision must preserve Ledger's premium brand and user trust.
