About the Role - As Synamedia increases the reach of our Media Cloud Services product suite and enters new markets we require a content writer with a focus on creating engaging content for multiple, digital B2B channels, focused on Software as a Service (SaaS) products and solutions. In this role you will need to work with the Marketing teams to articulate multiple value propositions across many media formats including written and spoken word, developing compelling and engaging content that effectively communicates the value proposition of our SaaS products to businesses and decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a good understanding of B2B marketing, and a track record of crafting impactful copy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear and persuasive copy for various marketing collateral, including email campaigns, social media posts, website content, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and product descriptions.
  • Craft messaging that effectively communicates the unique features, benefits, and value propositions of our SaaS products to a B2B audience.
  • Extract and articulate unique value propositions from technical concepts and turn them into engaging content, articulating the benefits to multiple personas.
  • Write for multiple audiences, across technology, business and operations, engaging them with short, mid and long form content, with clear calls to action.
  • Create supporting content for digital campaigns including direct mailers, landing pages, event promos, and micro-content for various social media channels.
  • Derive content snippets from different sources and repurpose for social and other distribution channels.
  • Create and edit scripts for promo videos and podcasts, including demonstration videos and product presentations.
  • Stay updated on, and adhere to, appropriate corporate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging.
  • Brief, and work with, internal resources, and external freelancers and agencies on content requirements, layout, graphics and check returned content against briefs, seeing content through to final approval and publishing.
  • Edit and proofread marketing materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Continuously improve and optimize content based on feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications - Portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples, including website copy, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral.

Required Skills

  • Strong at turning complex technical concepts into compelling value-focused content
  • Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and channels.
  • Must have experience of writing marketing content in a high-tech industry. Experience in media/video market verticals would be useful but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with stakeholders
  • Native English speaker
  • Educated to degree level. No subject type is essential but Marketing, Business Admin, Creative Arts, Technical Design disciplines are an advantage.
  • Be capable of demonstrating the following soft skills and attributes
  • Highly curious individual with an eye for detail
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
  • Excellent listening skills and interested in different points of view
  • Exceptional writing skills with a wide vocabulary and ability to quickly conjure copy out of nowhere with perfect grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Self-starter with excellent planning and organisation skills, managing workflows on multiple projects simultaneously with colleagues across different time zones
  • Ability to maintain project momentum even when several stakeholders need to input or approve work.
  • Methodical researcher, able to assimilate lots of information and filter the most noteworthy points.
  • Supportive team player with a strong desire to help others
