Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Marketing Director to lead our Marketing Department, shaping and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive business growth, elevate brand visibility, and enhance the customer experience. You will oversee all marketing operations, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative campaigns, aligning marketing efforts with the company’s strategic objectives, to build a competitive advantage in the marketplace.


You will join STS, a key player in the global renewable energy sector. With operations spanning thirteen countries across North America, Europe, and Asia, our teams comprise individuals, much like yourself, who are passionate about renewable energies, technology, quality, and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement term marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives, market trends, and customer needs, ensuring alignment with the broader goals of business units.
  • Design and execute differentiation strategies to position products and services uniquely in the market, working closely with product teams to refine competitive positioning.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure timely, successful product launches, including setting performance benchmarks and post-launch analysis to refine future go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to improve customer experience, collaborating with Product and Solutions teams to optimise customer touchpoints and satisfaction across the buyer’s journey.
  • Oversee digital marketing activities to increase brand visibility and online engagement, tracking key metrics like traffic, conversion rates, and engagement.
  • Lead the development and execution of multi-channel campaigns to facilitate leads generation, working closely with Sales to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute brand positioning, communication, and public relations strategies to ensure consistent, impactful messaging across all channels, reinforcing and strengthening the company’s brand identity.
  • Lead public relations efforts to build and maintain a positive public image, cultivating media relationships and leveraging strategic outreach to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.


Qualifications and Experience


  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Professional certification, such as from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the renewables sector or advisory and TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industries is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in executing differentiation strategies and implementing customer experience programs to drive brand loyalty and market growth.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience management, differentiation strategies, and market intelligence.
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing, brand management, and product marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing B2B marketing strategies, including lead generation and customer acquisition.
