Job Description:

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and NVQ3-qualified Lift Engineer to join their team. This role involves the maintenance and fault-finding of lift systems across Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk, Colchester, and Essex. The successful candidate will be a problem-solver with solid experience in the lift industry, comfortable with travel and on-call work as part of their dedicated team. They do not cover any London-based projects, ensuring your focus remains on their core service area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of lift systems
  • Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure optimal performance of all equipment
  • Provide high-quality customer service while representing the company on-site
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Work within a team of engineers, sharing knowledge and supporting team efforts as required
  • Be available for on-call work, which will be rotated within the team
  • Travel between multiple sites within the defined area


Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs in the lift industry
  • Flexibility to work on-call and travel as needed
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
