An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Engineer Surveyor to work on crane and lifting equipment across the East Anglia area.

">

As a Senior Lifting Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment meets Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.

">

You will visit client sites, working unsupervised and making decisions on the condition and future use of equipment.

">

This role requires excellent relationship building skills and the ability to influence customers.

">

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various pieces of crane and lifting equipment, knowledge of LOLER & PUWER regulations, and a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

">

You will also have the opportunity to progress into various positions within the business, including management and technical specialist roles.

Requirements and Qualifications

">
  • HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing crane and lifting equipment.
  • Knowledge of LOLER & PUWER regulations and ability to apply them in a practical setting.
  • Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must live within commuting distance of Cambridge.
